Virtual vs Real

Assalamualaikum

Do you realise that whenever you go to restaurant or other places people tend to spend their time with mobile screens.Have you ever realise it or you are among of them?

Nowadays people tend to spend more of our free time in the virtual world rather than in the real one.

People spend much time with smart phones constantly scrolling to check our Facebook,Twitter and other social media accounts to see what is new,who tweeted what and what/who are trending worldwide etc.Instead of making meaningful and enduring connections between each other we are engrossed in a world of our own with our digital devices. There appears tp be always something that needs to be shared, some pictures, status or comments to be liked or replied.

We make meaningful connections with people by physically going out and meeting them, sharing a meal and appreciating them for the mutual enrichent it brings to our lives through real social interaction, promotion of goodwill and exchange of knowledge and experiences.

If we don't make a point of leaving our digital devices at home once a week or so and go out into the wide open countryside and reconnect with nature, with our family or friends,we arein serious risk of becoming disconnected with the real world.

It is a wonderful world which needs no password to log in,where you can make frieds without a friend's request, sharing a conversation without limiting the characters and sharing a tweet instead of reading one.

Play on a real field with fresh air and sunshine instead of a screen, where your time is more valuable than your timeline, and where you really live your life and not scroll through it,and where you are guided by your heart and not an app.

So it is time to get out of virtual world and live!
